There have been a number of updates to Homebrew games for you to enjoy this weekend. It is early Friday morning (Jan. 16th, 2009) here at WHR Headquarters and nothing starts our weekend off on the right foot like a bunch of updates to some of the sweetest games on Homebrew. Just because we haven’t reviewed all these games officially yet certainly doesn’t mean that we haven’t played them. These are exciting updates because these are great games already.
First off, one of our favourite homebrewers, wplaat, has released updates to 3 of his titles:
- Redsquare Ver. 0.8 has been released with improvements to the webservice interface and the removal of several bugs. We are huge fans of Redsquare already so any improvements to this title always make us happy.
- BibleQuiz 0.90 released today with some minor updates and bugs removed. This title has not been reviewed here to date but it will be soon. The fact is that out of all Homebrew titles this is perhaps the one I personally have played the most. Which makes me wonder why the review has been so long coming, I got to get on that …
- Pong2 Ver. 0.95 has also been released with a bunch of small updates including improvements to how the highscores load.
In addition to these updates we also have an update to a new title called Horror Vacui which has already been released as version 0.03. This title was not available on the Homebrew Browser the last time I checked but just as soon as it is you can rest assured that it will be downloaded. Wiilander 0.3 has also been released, this is one that I have not played yet but I look forward to giving it a try.
