I want to buy animal crossing city folk but I noticed that it updates your wii in order to use the wii speak thingy… I was wondering if it affects the homebrew channel and the dvd playback.

Wii Homebrew, DVDx & Game Emulators – I’ve installed the Homebrew channel via bannerbomb now how do I use it?
I just installed Wii Homebrew using the bannerbomb hack. It seems to have installed fine. Now I’m not sure how to use it. I want to be able to play DVDs and emulate NES, SNES, N64 games.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I was told you don’t need a pc to download the homebrew channel. I must have gotten it from the wrong source ( the website) because I tried downloading it on my wii but it just says “error: zip file not supported” and I can’t move anything off my pc to my sd card because it’s “write protected”. please help I have no idea how to do this.

I have an SD card , that’s how i hacked the Zelda game … But my friend said he can do it using Discs…I searched the internet and found it said Discs no longer work with a System Menu update which was in July.. So how do i get Wii Load ??

How do you download Wii Game Back-ups to DVD for playing via Homebrew Channel?
I have the homebrew channel properly installed on my wii. I just can’t find a decent NTSC version of lots of games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. If you know of a place with decent torrent links for these games I’d appreciate it. I use vuze to download and search and I have also searched The Pirate Bay and isoHunt. None of these methods have rendered decent results.
Also, I’m wondering the best method to go about burning the file if/when I get it. I have DVD-R 4.7 16x disks and believe that I should use imgburn to burn the .iso file to DVD for proper playback via Wii Homebrew.
Again, any advice from those who are fortunate enough to have success with burning Wii Back-up Games would be greatly appreciated.
